She was delighted with how their first meeting was going.

He was listening intently, but also saying everything she wanted to hear.

However, as with many of these ‘dates’, the use, and timing of those three words ruined everything.

Brown bagging

Lenny sat on a bench, and began to consume his purchase, straight from its brown paper bag.

He knew there was a certain stigma attached to this, but didn’t care;

It warmed his insides!

“It’s 9.30am!” chided a passing woman.

Ignoring her, Lenny carried on munching his Greggs sausage roll.
