B ang

He’d known it would come to this.

The others looked as he felt; apprehensive but ready, anticipating the gun-shot that would play such a huge part in their destinies.

For what felt like an age, he waited.

When he heard it, he ran. His shot at Olympic glory was underway.

    I couldn't format the title quite how I wanted; the B of bang (get it?!) was meant to be bold. As it is, to keep it subtle, rather than calling it 'B of Bang', I've just put a space in.
